Easter "Youth Sunday" Prep
Come 1, come all! We are starting to get ready for Easter "Youth Sunday" already! We will meet at the Soup Suppers at 6:30 starting on March 3. Come and find a place where you can serve in this awesome opportunity!
M.O.V.E. 2010
MOVE is a chance to and serve in the community. We will be heading down to First Covenant on April 9th (Friday) and returning on April 10th (Saturday). We will have fun, do a service project, and get to know each other even better! Sign up by March 28th if you want to go. The cost is $30 which covers Friday snack, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and a T-shirt!
Youth Night!
On Wednesday nights we have Youth Night. If there are any updates or anything of that sort it will be located here! On the left hand side of the page there is a link to the Youth Corner information. That will be updated regularly.
Free Lunch
Calling all high school students! Starting this Thursday Hutchinson is hosting yet again the free lunch for all lunch periods on Thursdays! Come to Shalom during lunch, get a free meal and hang with some pretty neat people. We serve on March 4!

Youth Night
YOUTH SUNDAY PREP! That's right, Youth Sunday is right around the corner. We will be starting to prepare for it. Come to the Soup Supper, and we'll meet afterwards.
Bible Gateway is a Bible search site. On there you can type the verse you are seeking or just parts of the verse. It is great when it comes to looking for specific verses. Also on this site there is a verse of the day. I encourage you to look at it and then continue to read it your own Bible the verses that come before and after it, so that you can get the verse in the correct context.
Y.A.C.H.T. Club
Y.A.C.H.T. Club stands for Youth Against Complacency and Homlessness Today. It is a group that is starting up in Hutchinson and our goal is to work towards not only raising awareness but to work alongside those organizations that assist the homeless in our community. Mission Trip 2010 Information!
Check out the link on the left side of the site under the "Extra Extra" title. This extra site will be a great way to keep in contact with both Amy and Tim as well as others going on the trip this summer.
February 26 (Friday)
Babysitting Fundraiser. Please be here between 5 and 5:15. We will have snacks for the kiddos but please eat something before you come! This was a blast last time, so come and enjoy the fun!
March 4
Optional fundraiser. Help "Youth for Christ" at their yearly banquet. You will serve! Dress is black pants and a white top. Ask Amy for more information!
March 8-14
Spring Break (maybe a service week for community/congregation members)

Student Stock Fundraiser. We will man the "booth" for every Sunday in March. We will explain what it means to purchase stock in a student and then also encourage them to keep praying for us as we prepare for the trip out west!

This is an article that explains the kind of influence that you as parents have on your children! It is amazing and very encouraging!
The Anti-drug
This is a website that was passed on by McLeod County. It is a great source for parents/guardians to help keep their child safe. It shows some of the ways that youth can get their hands on dangerous materials (including but not limited to: illegal drugs, over-the-counter drugs, alcohol, etc). Some of the ways that these youth can get their hands on such materials are easily overlooked. If you have a youth that you fear is in danger of such items or if you would like to prepare yourself this is the site for you!

Event Photos
We went down to Operation Christmas Child in Eden Prairie. We spent 4 hours working the line and had a blast doing it. The system has changes so that we can do every step of the process, however it means they can not guesstimate how many boxes we actually went through. But it was amazing to see the whole process and to feel apart of this amazing organization.
Counting down to the last day of the decade. Was a party you didn't want to miss. We had a blast playing card games, watching the 1980's Superman movies, 4-square, and a time capsule!
